About Us
Trebelle made its debut in February 2012 with violinist Jennifer Dunn, cellist Heidi Nagel, and pianist Robyn Wells. Combining the Italian words "tre" (three) and "belle" (plural for beauty), Trebelle loves to share popular and hidden gems of the piano trio repertoire. They have performed frequently throughout the Pacific Northwest including Idaho, Montana, Washington, and Wyoming. Trebelle performed Beethoven's "Triple Concerto" with the Serenata Orchestra in Boise, and were featured performers in the Idaho Federation of Music Clubs state convention in 2023.
Jennifer Dunn began violin lessons with her mother, Judy Call, and then joined the studio of Julienne Slaughter. She received her Bachelor of Music in Performance and Music History from the University of Utah where she studied with John Chatelain, and obtained teacher certification from the College of Idaho where she studied with Geoffrey Trabichoff. Jennifer has been a guest artist three times with the Magic Valley Symphony: first as the winner of the Magic Valley Symphony Youth Solo Competition, and then in performances of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughn Williams. She has also appeared as a soloist with the BSU Symphony Orchestra, the Crimson Chamber Orchestra at the University of Utah, the Magic Valley Youth Symphony, the College of Idaho Sinfonia, the Treasure Valley Symphony, the Darkwood Consort, the Treasure Valley Millennial Choir and Orchestra, and the Hymns of Thanksgiving Orchestra. Jennifer’s love of chamber music began in high school where she formed multiple ensembles with friends, and continued in college where she was selected to be a member of the University of Utah Honor’s String Quartet and invited to perform with Langroise Trio while attending the College of Idaho. In addition to playing the violin, Jennifer loves homeschooling her three children, reading, traveling, studying Hebrew, and riding motorcycles with her husband Dave.
