About Us
Trebelle is an acclaimed piano trio founded in 2012 by pianist Robyn Wells, cellist Heidi Nagel, and violinist Jennifer Dunn. The trio has appeared by invitation on regional chamber music series including Second City Chamber Series (Tacoma, WA), Caldwell Fine Arts Series (Caldwell, ID), A Piano Celebration (College of Southern Idaho/Twin Falls), Star Valley Arts Council series (Jackson, WY region), and Second Sunday Sounds at Six (McCall, Idaho). The trio was a featured performer in the Idaho Federation of Music Clubs State Convention in 2023. Trebelle performed the Beethoven Triple Concerto with Serenata Orchestra (2019). Known for their highly imaginative and creative programs, the trio performs biannual tours throughout Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Trebelle has recorded two CD’s with recognized producer/sound engineer Jamey Lamar: Chaminade and Schumann, celebrating works by female composers; and Night and Day, featuring evocative music that depicts different times of the day.
Jennifer Dunn began violin lessons with her mother, Judy Call, and then joined the studio of Julienne Slaughter. She received her Bachelor of Music in Performance and Music History from the University of Utah where she studied with John Chatelain, and obtained teacher certification from the College of Idaho where she studied with Geoffrey Trabichoff. Jennifer has been a guest artist three times with the Magic Valley Symphony: first as the winner of the Magic Valley Symphony Youth Solo Competition, and subsequently in performances of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughn Williams. She has also appeared as a soloist with the BSU Symphony Orchestra, the Crimson Chamber Orchestra, the Magic Valley Youth Symphony, the College of Idaho Sinfonia, the Treasure Valley Symphony, the Darkwood Consort, the Treasure Valley Millennial Choir and Orchestra, and the Hymns of Thanksgiving Orchestra. Jennifer’s love of chamber music began in high school where she formed multiple ensembles with friends. She was selected to be a member of the University of Utah Honor’s String Quartet, and performed with Langroise Trio while attending the College of Idaho. In addition to playing the violin, Jennifer has three children, and loves reading, traveling, studying Biblical Hebrew, and riding motorcycles with her husband Dave.
